Although I've spent all of my years in corporate finance, personal finance in near my heart. I agree 100% with this: ""When you save money today in hopes of spending it later, you’re deferring a lot of your enjoyment to a future date that may never arrive."" I would not call myself a big spender if you will but I'm just not into the frugal lifestyle. I know Leo Babauta(Zen Habits) is into living like that. I think he even shops at goodwill. I'm not knocking they guy and his way of life it that seems like you're depriving yourself of life's pleasures. As corny as it sounds, I am fond of saying "You only have 1 life to live as we know it, enjoy it before it's all over". I live by that. Excellent blog entry Hunter.
