OK, SO THIS MORNING I AM PULLING A LITTLE MIRROR OUT THAT IS ALREADY BROKE. TO TAKE A QUICK LOOK AND AS I AM PULLING IT UP IT FALLS OUT OF MY HAND. I DON’T THINK MY REFLECTION IS IN IT. BUT MAYBE NOT OUITE SURE….I AM 32 NOW SO IF MY REFLECTION WAS IT AM I GOING TO HAVE BAD LUCK FOR 3 YEARS. PLEASE HELP.

My daughter just broke a big mirror in the bathroom and I googled to find out about the 7 years bad luck myth. It was so relieving to know that that it doesn’t count if your reflection wasn’t in it.
The mirror fell and broke after she had left the bathroom. But anyway like mat says.. there is always bad luck and good luck around us .
Its just the timing and our mindset. Don’t feed the thought . Buy a new mirror and forget all about it.

I literally just broke a mirror in the the bathroom.. I was holding a little makeup mirror to pluck my eyebrows, and when I turned around to put it away it fell from my hand and broke when it hit the tiled floor. I don’t know if my reflection was in it when it broke, I can’t remember if it landed faced down or faced up (the front has a picture of the Eiffel Tower on it) but then again, my reflection could have been in the sides… I don’t know what to think, or believe! I’m a little stressed out here! And I am eighteen years old, so if I were to have to wait for my soul to renew it would have to be a total of three years “bad luck.”

TO DAY MORNING I HAD I FIGHT WITH MY HUSBAND AND HE IS SHORT TEMPER PERSON. HE TOOK THE MIRROR AND HIT THE FLOOR IT BROKE I WANT TO KNOW IF WE DID PURPOSELY IS THIS BAD LUCK FOE 7 YEARS. IS ANY SOLUTION FOR THAT

I too dropped one couple of days ago,I was quite upset,but it broke without my reflection in it,reading this article made me quite relaxed.

so if i stepped on a mirror and it cracked but paper was over it is it still considered bad luck o.0 ? i was already getting alot of bad luck before it happen also

That’s funny Hunter, about three days ago I dropped a mirror that was on my desk and it fell to the floor and broke. I wasn’t looking at myself though so my reflection wasn’t in the mirror. I did have a moment just when it fell when I thought to myself “Oh no, seven years of bad luck”; but that feeling quickly faded.

@ Akemi, yeah, I thought about you when I wrote this. I know you would say that soul shifts happen rarely in most people, and always for a good reason, as opposed to being scheduled for every seven years. If the mirror people show up here, I’ll send them to your blog.
