I love Twitter because, in addition to crating meaningful community, it’s helped me discover my voice. I was in the process of changing life-work directions when I started on Twitter. No blog, no web site. At the same time I was discovering my voice for this new work, I was building a Presence and making connections. Plus, I was having fun! And still am.

Hi Hunter, As you know, it was because of the guest post you did on my blog I became convinced I needed to give Twitter a try. I LOVE it. The micro blogging platform is ideal for staying in touch with our fellow bloggers and if we don't have time to visit their blogs, we can still communicate. I'm off to download your book. @ Ari, I don’t track my stats closely enough to know how much of my Twitter traffic comes from where exactly. I tweet all my posts, so that’s not a variable in the equation. I can say that specifically requesting RTs when I tweeted this post was extremely effective. However, I prefer to save “please RTs” for very rare occasions.

Color me curious, Hunter: You say Twitter is your third most popular traffic source. How much of the traffic is a direct response to your tweeting/directing people to your blog vs people finding it organically? For instance, if you don't tweet certain posts, do you see less per-post traffic than other posts you do tweet about? Ari Herzog´s last blog post..Be Careful Online: Big Brother is Watching
