@Ari - I appreciate what you're saying, because it speaks to Chris Pearson's talent behind Thesis. I am currently redesigning Remarkablogger on Thesis, and as you can imagine, I'm learning everything about it I can.

Thesis does indeed come with many out-of-the-box SEO options... probably more than any other theme ever made. But it's not enough.

Question: does that mean everyone who uses Thesis knows how these should be set? I'm afraid that unless they already know SEO, they do not. There must be understanding for the use of these settings to provide any actual SEO benefits.

Although Thesis does a lot, it does not do everything required for the best optimization possible for WordPress blogs.

Part of what people can get if they have WordPress SEO Secrets is the WordPress SEO Secrets Monthly Newsletter, which is the continuing education aspect of WordPress SEO. SEO and search tools are constantly changing. Planned for an upcoming issue of the newsletter will be an article about SEO specifically in Thesis.

Doing SEO tweaks in Thesis is actually more difficult than using some of these plugins, unfortunately. I wish it weren't true, because I love Thesis, but that's been my experience. I have no doubt Chris will make this easier down the road.

Whether a blogger has Thesis or an array of SEO plugins, it doesn't matter. What matters is knowing what to do and why, and WordPress SEO Secrets provides one super-convenient multimedia course on that.

Wordpress SEO is true to an extent... though if you are like me and use the Thesis theme, SEO is built-in so plugins are unnecessary. In fact, the only plugin that resembles anything to do with SEO is a sitemap.

Still, useful advice. Thanks for alerting us, Hunter.
