@ Jamie, feeling any jet lag? I was out of it for at least a week when I came back from Japan, so I know it's not easy. Thanks for letting me do the interview - I'm sure it brought me some new readers too.

Hey Hunter,

I'm sorry it's taken me so long to comment on this post. I've spent much of the last couple weeks on 13 hours flights to and from Australia. Hectic time.

I wanted to thank you for the link back to the interview. It certainly sent over a lot of new commentators. :)

Thanks, once again, for your excellent answers.

Jamie

@ Cath, I think he's just backed up with all the interviews he did. I sent mine in six weeks ago and it just went up the other day. Looking forward to reading yours!

Hi Hunter - great interview. I am a little miffed though. I completed Jamie's questionnaire and he didn't bother to post my interview. I guess he just forgot.

@ Avani-Mehta, that happens to me too. We get so used to our favorite blogs that we forget there are other ones out there! I try to remember to find new ones once in a while, even if I mainly stick to the ones I know.

Enjoyed your interview. Gave me a few pointers to work on. I realised I have been enjoying the blogs I read/comment on so much that I had stopped finding new ones.

@ Vered, at the time I posted this, I was thinking, "I wonder if Vered's online." :)

@ Marelisa, yeah, I was very happy about that! I wonder what the effect would have been if it was just a link to a post, instead of a link to my ebook.

@ Barbara, did you see that Linda left a comment on the interview saying she found me through BWAB? I'm seeing BWABers everywhere these days!

@ Urban Panther, I think a mix is called for. Some blogs I just have to comment on, regardless of any traffic considerations. But I try to make an effort to branch out as well.

@ Stacey, first you want to think about who you'd like to guest post for. Not all bloggers accept guest posts, and some prefer that you run your idea by them before writing the post. It also helps if they know who you are, that is, if you're a regular commenter. Be sure that the post you write is a good fit for their blog, not just a good fit for yours. And definitely respond to comments. Good luck!

@ Harmony, commenting on the same blogs over and over can diminish their effectiveness, but then again sometimes you comment just because you want to comment, not because you want traffic. I think it's important to comment for both purposes.

@ Linda, you've done your homework then, with two comments and a subscription! Thanks.

Hey Hunter,
You know, I really appreciated that you were honest about how the blogging comments works for you. It is so true, many of the blogs I post to most regularly, are not necessarily where my traffic comes from either. I just enjoy the community the blogger has created. I like your ideas. Must work at that a bit more. Always learning....thanks.

Great lessons learned! I'm ready to write guest posts for other blogs to share my ideas and passions on practicing the art of life balance. Any tips on how to move into the guest-posting-world?
