Hello Hunter, we don't know each other (yet) and I am not sure why I stumbled upon your blog tonight for the first time, but I thought I should at least let you know that I was here and I have enjoyed my unforeseen visit. I read some of your posts (especially the comments) like the one about Akemi's first interview about Akashic Record Reading, and it seemed like deja vu for me.

I remember having a few sessions in 1998-1999 with a psychic healer who kept telling me about things that seemed quite incredible to me at the time (including that I had the ability to clear akashic records). Some of the things she said have happened since then but not all (I hope I am not resisting those). One thing she mentioned was that I was a master and that I had a unique and powerful technique. At the time I was still heavily involved in Maharishi's TM and what she was saying made no sense, but I have since discovered a unique power in me that has helped hundreds of people free themselves from limiting beliefs and unwanted experiences in their lives, as you can see if you check out my website.

I wish you all the best in the coming new year and maybe our paths will cross some day in person.

@ another Monika, I've actually never had a predefined list in mind. Shilpan and Randy just happened to be the first two, and I don't know who will be next. We'll see! But I prefer to interview the person instead of just writing about them, so it would have to be someone who would consent to an interview.

Hunter,
I know you probably have a huge list already for ordinary people, extraordinary souls but I have a couple to suggest when you are through with your list. And I really enjoyed your second piece on Randy Pausch and will be looking as his time management lecture (that's for posting it).

[...] That was 12 years ago. Today, Randy Pausch is famous for his last lecture, a talk called “Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams” that he gave to reflect on important life lessons as he fought with pancreatic cancer. And while he passed away about a week ago, I figured there was no reason I couldn’t make him a posthumous guest of honor in my series Hunter’s Heroes: Ordinary People, Extraordinary Souls.
@ Barbara, I thought Shilpan would be a good choice to get it started. He has a really good "there" to "here" story!

@ Akemi, somehow, that doesn't surprise me!

Hi Hunter,

What a wonderful idea. It's always nice to hear the stories of how people got from "there" to "here" and where they're headed next. THOSE are the ones we can learn so much from.

I'm off to read your first interview. Shilpan's story sounds very fascinating.
