Brip Blap, I'm glad the two of you loved it. It might not have as much mass appeal as The Secret, but I agree that it's better. Think and Grow Rich is good too, and since it's now freely available, I'll probably end up adding it to the Resources page as well.

Hunter - I loved the book and my wife did too. Thanks for posting the link; I'll probably have more to say about it on my blog. It's an improvement on The Secret, that's for sure (and I like The Secret and Think and Grow Rich too).

Brip Blap's last blog post..brutal honesty

Hi, Barbara. I'm a big fan of the law of attraction as well, and at some point I'll be writing some posts about it. Although I have a few quibbles about how it was presented in "The Secret," I think "The Secret" has been criticized far too harshly, and its critics are just missing the point.

Although "The Science of Getting Rich" is about making money, the principles are generic enough that you could easily change a few words to make it about "riches," subject to the reader's definition of that word.

Now I know that "The Secret" is responsible for Blogging Without A Blog! Yet another good thing to come from that book!

Hi Hunter,

"The Secret" is what I attribute to the formation of my blogs. When I was reading it, I had a light bulb moment, which propelled me to what has now become a passion.

Thank you for sharing the link to the free e-book. I will be downloading and reading it, and see if it opens my eyes to greater "riches".

As much as I do believe we should follow our dreams, some dreams cannot be measured by a dollar amount. And although it is said, follow your passion and the money will follow, I believe the word money should be replaced with "riches".

Barbara's last blog post..If Content Is Queen, Where Is She Hiding
